Here is an overview of sample applications referred to in this blog:

Grails:
Planet RIA is a blog aggregator. It is based on work by Glen Smith at http://groovyblogs.org and collects news about RIA.

riamap is a Web 2.0 community site that maps the world of Rich Internet Applications. Unlike mere information aggregators on the topic, it builds on user contributions to assemble not only a list of current RIA technologies, but also how they relate to each other.

Java FX Script:
Music pinboard is a sample application built to explore JavaFX Script, a brand new script language for generating interactive graphical user interfaces with Swing.

Google Web Toolkit (GWT):
Sample and the corresponding code showing a navigation bar using GWT.

Canoo UltraLightClient (ULC):
The OnlineShop sample application demonstrates the advantages of using ULC to display large amounts of data. The user can browse through a hierarchy of more than 9000 products, navigate through the product categories, search for products, and add selected products to the shopping cart using drag and drop.
